We were thrilled to have been selected for the residential renovation project at the residence of Mrs. Jaya Moorjani in Old Mhada, Andheri West, Mumbai. The objective for this endeavor was to revitalize and contemporize the existing space while preserving its inherent charm and character.
Our initial step in the design process was to gain a comprehensive understanding of Mrs. Moorjani’s vision for the space and her specific requirements. Following numerous meetings and discussions, we devised a comprehensive plan that not only incorporated all of her needs but also stayed true to the overarching design aesthetics. Once the design plan was solidified, we embarked on its realization.
We commenced by implementing structural changes to the space, which included the removal of old walls and the addition of new ones to create a more open and flexible layout. Additionally, we upgraded the flooring, ceiling, and lighting systems to enhance the overall ambiance of the space.
Regarding furniture and decor, we meticulously curated pieces that harmonized with the modern and stylish design theme we had envisioned. Our selection featured sleek and contemporary furniture in a neutral color palette, punctuated by bursts of color through strategically placed plants and accessories. One of the standout elements of the renovated space is the kitchen, which underwent a top-to-bottom redesign. We installed new cabinets, countertops, and appliances, transforming it into a modern and functional area that’s perfect for both cooking and entertaining. We also added a breakfast bar and a built-in banquette seating area, creating a warm and inviting space for the family to congregate.
Mrs. Jaya Moorjani expressed her satisfaction with the renovation. The space now embodies a modern, stylish, and functional design, and we are confident it will provide an exceptional living environment for her and her family. We are deeply grateful to Mrs. Moorjani for entrusting us with this project and eagerly anticipate the prospect of collaborating with her again in the future.
